Data Engineer (ETL, 30-40K)
- Develop scalable data pipelines for efficient collection, processing.
- transformation, and storage of large structured and unstructured data sets.
- Design and refine ETL workflows to deliver clean, reliable data for analysis and decision-making.
- Build and manage data warehouses and lakes for easy access to reporting and analytics.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data against unauthorized access.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for high availability and scalability.
- Conduct testing to ensure solutions meet all functional and performance standards.
- Stay updated on emerging big data and distributed system technologies and assess their relevance.
- Collaborate with teams to improve data quality, performance, and security.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective technical solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience in IT application development, including user requirement collection and analysis, system design, and SDLC.
- Solid understanding of data platforms, including architecture, components, and functionalities, with proficiency in data integration, storage, processing, analytics, and visualization technologies.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, focusing on building scalable data processing systems.
- Practical experience in database design (table design), SQL, ETL tools, and backend job execution.
- Strong programming skills in Java, React, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, Java EE, RESTful API, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, and JTA.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c or above, including PL/SQL; knowledge of PostgreSQL is highly preferred.
- Experience with Unix/LINUX application development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
