UAT Tester (Government, 16-18K)
- Analyze system specifications, user stories, and technical design documents to understand system logic and business requirements.
- Design, draft, and maintain detailed, structured, and easy-to-follow test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Execute manual test cases diligently to identify software defects, edge cases, and UI/UX inconsistencies.
- Log, track, and manage defects in the issue-tracking system (e.g., Jira) by providing clear steps to reproduce, actual vs. expected results, and relevant logs or screenshots.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors to verify bug fixes and ensure smooth re-testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in QA testing.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency with project management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab).
- Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XPath, JSON) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
