Field Service Engineer
- Lead pre-installation site checks (racks, cabling), install/configure IoT devices, and run functional/acceptance testing.
- Diagnose technical issues on-site, handle device replacements, and smoothly hand over systems to operations.
- Escort CIC auditors, demonstrate live system functionality, and provide necessary technical evidence.
- Inspect incoming equipment against specs/POs, manage deployment budgets, and track costs.
- Recommend IoT configurations from our predefined catalog and liaise with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to coordinate access and deliveries.
- Maintain asset inventories, configuration records, test plans, and audit evidence.
- Diploma or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years in IoT deployments, systems integration, or field engineering.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, device replacement, and commissioning.
- Proficient in network fundamentals (TCP/IP) and IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP).
- Familiar with asset tagging and mobile commissioning tools.
- Knowledge of CIC 4S requirements or construction industry compliance processes is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
