Data Centre Operations Engineer (Bank, 7x24, 25-32K)
- Support activities and tasks with the Data Centre Operations Team to install Compute x86 servers.
- Provide hardware support, include upgrade, new server installs, ESX in-place evergreen.
- Assist with regulatory inventory practices, server moves / relocation, installation from repurposed old, demised servers and onsite delivery acceptance.
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports and asset inventories.
- Liaise with users and other IT teams for system/server maintenance.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Diploma or above in IT, computer science or a related field.
- At least 3 years experience in server operation / data centre.
- Hands-on experience with hardware (x86, Windows, Linux servers) installation and maintenance.
- Willingness to work on a 24/7 shift rotation, including nights and holidays.
- Immediate available is highly preferred.
- Able to work independently, willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
