Automation and Insights Engineer (Nexthink, Finance/Bank, 35-45K)
- Deliver continuous, round-the-clock supervision of the corporate workspace infrastructure, applying behavioural and trend analysis to spot irregularities early and cut down on alert fatigue before end users experience disruptions.
- Design, construct, and support dashboard interfaces, automated operational workflows, automated remediation prompts, and targeted communication initiatives.
- Perform thorough root-cause investigations into complex problems instead of addressing surface-level symptoms, verifying alerts, documenting evidence, and deciding on the best course of action, such as automated fixes, campaigns, or escalations.
- Collaborate closely across global service desks, engineering groups, and incident response teams to streamline triage, data-driven repairs, and preventive measures while keeping performance standards uniform across all territories.
- Manage comprehensive regional and international reporting, covering monthly leadership reviews and weekly progress syncs, alongside maintaining structured shift handovers and logging resolution histories to improve future learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least of 5 years of experience in end-user computing, desktop engineering or technology operations.
- Solid hands-on experience in enterprise digital employee experience platforms such as Nexthink to build dashboards, alerts, and remote actions.
- Experience in scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience in physical endpoint and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) management.
- Experience in cross-functional incident triage and IT service management platforms.
- Experience in executive reporting and workspace analytics generation.
- Knowledge in data analytics, automation scripting, and remote support workflows.
- High compressive strength with self-motivated skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
