Network Support Engineer
- Managed the Metro-Ethernet Wide Area Network (WAN) Service Level of the WAN Link
- Providers based on the service and maintenance contract signed by Client and the WAN link providers
- 7x24 standby for response to the monitor the up and down status of in scope network connections, perform 1st level problem determination, and escalate to the service provider
- Managed the in scope WAN Routers of Client partner
- Coordinate the hardware support service of the in scope WAN Routers according to Service Level of signed Hardware maintenance contract between Client and Hardware providers
- Manage and communicate with WAN link provider and Client partners for incident handling and management
- Perform Testing connection with external interfaces base on the SR request from Client
- Provide monthly WAN Links capacity report generated by PRTG
- Provide Problem and incident handling management on the Fax Line and Telephone Line after end user report errors
- Provide WAN link Move/Add/Change
- Provide Fax Line and Telephone Line Move/Add/Change
- Maintain the up-to-date WAN Network Diagram
- Maintain the up-to-date WAN Link, Fax Line and Telephone Line inventory records
- Provide periodic WAN Link failover test
- Degree or Higher diploma in any IT related disciplines
- At least 1 year’s experience in Network management such as: switches, routers
- Hands-on experience of on network monitoring and troubleshooting including routers/switches/firewalls
- CCNA is an added advantage
