Technical Consultant
- Act as Open System lead and focal point in supporting BAU and Project work and work closely with all the other Units.
- Provide Technical guidance, consultancy, recommendations and training to different business Units’ Technical teams in the region.
- Design and develop the UNIX & iSeries Transition and Transformation methodology.
- Supervise out-source Vendor engagements, ensuring timely deliveries of content from the external Vendor and monitor communications, facilitating when issues arise.
- Take lead for major Group initiative deployment.
- Direct and oversee the group level support and implementation of UNIX and Linux solutions and Infrastructure, which include evaluation, implementation, maintenance, performance management, release management, configuration management capacity management, ongoing enhancement and upgrade, and related installation standards.
- Review and endorse the Technical documentation and migration plan from outsource vendor.
- Experience in leading complex Regional Infrastructure transition and Tansformation Project.
- Experience in performing BAU support and Project implementation.
- Experience in Open system technologies including UNIX Sun Solaris, Linux, IBM AIX and VMware Infrastructure.
- Able to communicate with the external vendor, external and internal stakeholders.
- An ability to understand the Technical details and communicate the essentials at a high level is essential.
- Good communication of spoken and written in English & Cantonese.
