Data Centre Technical Consultant
- Media Management: Tape Management, Change Request, Incident Management handling.
- Updating and submitting of Data Centre Walkthrough report.
- IMAC coordination and planning (i.e. Rack space and power).
- IMAC execution (i.e. install, Decomm, change).
- Aperture Ticket Management.
- Hands-on conference call or meeting on Tape Management, IMAC coordination and IMAC execution or any other related issue.
- Breakfix Coordination: INC Ticket Management / Coordination with Vendor/supplier / Incident handling.
- Time spend on email correspondence or conference on call due to breakfix.
- Emergency breakfix for Server.
- Inventory Management and Capacity Management (i.e. Capacity planning & reporting for Power, Cabling & Rackspace allocation).
- Hardware disposal coordination and HDD Degaussing.
- Event Management: Power down coordination and DR Test standby.
- High Diploma or above in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Solid Server breakfix, Data Center Admin/ Support, and Cabling Support Management experience.
- Good communication of written and spoken in English and Cantonese.
- Shift duty is required.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday (0800 - 1500 or 1400 – 2100); Saturday (Alternate) 1100 - 2000.
- Working Location: Chai Wan and Tsuen Wan Data Centre.
