Data Centre Support Consultant
- Accountable for the Data Centre Service Operations locally in Hong Kong and Regionally across Asia including Incident and Problem Management, formal Change Management processes, DC Physical Access Management as well as Capacity Management of rack space, power and network ports.
- Execute and manage equipment placement of Rack & Stack activities.
- Assist with maintaining control over DC Physical Security and compliance.
- Generate and review monthly DC access reports.
- Provide incident management for any impacts to DC Services.
- Raise and monitor change, incident and problem tickets on requests and arrange for execution.
- Maintain DC inventories.
- Knowledge and understanding of DC M&E Infrastructure including PDU, UPS, CRAC, Fire suppression and Access Controls.
- Knowledge and understanding of Network Cabling standards, installation practices and common industry IT Technology platforms including UNIX, Wintel, Storage, Network Hardware.
- Past exposure and experience in handling Incident & Problem Management processes, Facilities Management, reporting and escalation.
- Working knowledge of IT best practices and standards such as ITIL Service Management processes.
- Fluent spoken and written English, spoken Mandarin is preferable for HKG role.
- Self-starter, team player, able to work autonomously and setting priorities to meet deadline-driven environment.
