SW9472 | 15 May 2018 Desktop Support Engineer
  • Migration of user data and execution of Windows 10 Migration
  • 1st Tier Support – Identify and resolve support issues, escalate tickets to appropriate individuals or groups if necessary.
  • 2nd Tier Support– face to face support to users Log and track all calls using the Ticketing Database
  • Setup and deploy new workstations: operating system installs, application installations, configuration and testing.
  • Manage backups, if necessary
  • Minimum 2 years+ experience in a user support
  • Experience with previous Windows Migration (previous versions okay)
  • Knowledge of networking, and an understanding of Windows registry, user administration, security, performance monitoring and reporting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to recognize and remediate issues with urgency
  • Good influencing, relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Hands on experience on Systems and Windows administration
  • Working location: Admiralty
