  • Provide expert-level WebSphere MQ and physical infrastructure designs and implementation skills concentrating on the regulatory systems
  • Provide expert-level WebSphere MQ consultancy, advanced solutions analysis/design, implementation for WebSphere MQ solutions, with supporting solutions on AS400 or Mainframe would be advantage
  • Perform infrastructure solution clear choices, detailed analysis, design, build and installations and final service go-live documentation/processes/procedures to facilitate DRN and DMZ solutions for global monitoring (e.g. ITM)
  • Aid with expert-level MQ technical standards, security design documentation, object naming standards and documentation with expert-level infrastructure design standards
  • Participate with different business / technical functions (Operational and Design) in defining scope, early awareness of products/capabilities, PoCs, technical/operational analysis and choices for current and new middleware technologies
  • Conduct middleware infrastructure implementation, administration and support
  • Provide MQ technical and solutions training for project delivery teams in addition to onshore/offshore Support teams
  • A university graduate with degree in computer science or related discipline with relevant experience
  • In-depth technical and proven understanding of IBM WebSphere MQ (server and client), SSL and security components and product suites
  • Knowledge in CL programming is a must
  • Strong technical and proven understanding of IBM Tivoli + Omegamon XE and ITCAM
  • Strong Unix administration knowledge
  • Experience on Mainframe and AS/400 would be an advantage
  • Up-to-date IBM WebSphere Certification, i.e. MQ v9 would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in a production operations capacity with Disaster Recovery and High-Availability solutions
  • Diagnosis and resolution of IBM WebSphere service issues in test and in production environments
  • Excellent communication skills that are effective within a globally distributed team
  • Proactive, ability to work with minimal supervision and on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good time management and prioritisation of tasks
  • Ability to build good working relationships with application teams and other IT service teams
